Entebbe Arrivals Terminal Expansion

The Uganda aviation officials have revealed that the expansion of the arrivals lounge at Entebbe International Airport is will cost sh17.7b.

The expansion taking place is intended to enhance efficiency ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in November.

“The baggage has more than doubled and it will reduce congestion especially at the time when we are expecting more visitors during CHOGM,” said Civil Aviation Authority’s public relations officer, Vianney Luggya.

Lugya was speaking at a cocktail party for SN Brussels Airlines to pre-inaugurate the new arrivals terminal. Pierre Declerk, the SN Brussels general manager of said they would start a fifth flight to Entebbe early next year.

Bravo Air Congo is an airline based in Kinshasa International Airport, Democratic Republic of the Congo operating domestic and regional passenger services.
