1Time is a budget airline based in Kempton Park, Gauteng, Johannesburg, South Africa, Operating scheduled domestic flight services. Its core hub is Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, with minor hubs at East London Airport, Durban International Airport and Cape Town International Airport.

The name of the company, “one time”, is a South African expression meaning “for real”. The founders owned an aviation Holding company, Afrisource Holdings, through which they became owners of Aeronexus, an aviation company that offered various aircraft services. With the resultant decline in the aviation business making planes obtainable cheaply, they realised the prospect to establish a low-cost airline.

1Time airline started cheap airline ticket sales in 2004, and flights commenced a month after, with three daily return flights between Cape Town International Airport and Johannesburg airport. Currently, the airline provides flight services to destinations including Durban, George, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg and East London.
